Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Uniformed Services Staff Selection Commission (OUSSSC) has initiated the recruitment process for constable-level posts under Odisha Police and other departments and said on Saturday that a detailed advertisement will be issued shortly.In a notification, the commission said the upcoming advertisement will contain details regarding vacancies, eligibility criteria, selection procedure and other conditions for applicants. OUSSSC also informed that steps are being taken on priority to expedite the examination process for the Combined Police Services Examination (CPSE)-2024, for which applications have already been received.Acknowledging the concerns and anticipation among aspirants, the commission assured candidates that all necessary preparatory measures are being undertaken to conduct the examination in a fair, transparent and secure manner in accordance with the prescribed rules.Candidates who have applied for CPSE-2024 have been advised to continue their preparations and remain updated through official communications. Commission said the examination schedule and other instructions will be announced through authorised channels and its website once finalised. It urged aspirants to stay alert and await official announcements.
