In 2018, the Global Gift Foundation, the charity championed by actor and activist Eva Longoria, began supporting the Quang Chau Orphanage in Vietnam, where resources were described as virtually non-existent. Today, the rebuilt residence, renamed Casa Ángeles Quang Chau Vietnam, cares for more than 100 children, including many with special needs, providing food, clothing, medical care, education and a safe home, as per the Global Gift Foundation. The foundation’s November 5 Global Gift Gala in Paris was designed to raise funds for that work and for Casa Ángeles, its specialised therapy centre in Marbella, Spain. The Paris event, held at the Four Seasons George V, was chaired by Global Gift Foundation founder María Bravo, with Eva Longoria serving as honorary chair. It brought together dinner, performances and a live auction, continuing the foundation’s model of using high-profile fundraising events to support vulnerable children, women and families around the world. A neglected orphanage becomes Casa Ángeles

When the Global Gift Foundation began working with the Quang Chau Orphanage in 2018, the building was in a state of severe disrepair and the children living there had very limited resources. The foundation rebuilt the residence and renamed it Casa Ángeles Quang Chau Vietnam.Today, the home cares for more than 100 children. Its support includes food, clothing, medical care, education and shelter, with particular attention given to children with special needs. The transformation is not only physical. By rebuilding the residence and establishing ongoing care, the foundation has turned a neglected institution into a stable home where children can receive daily support and access services that were previously unavailable to them.

What Casa Ángeles provides

Casa Ángeles Quang Chau Vietnam is part of the wider Casa Ángeles model developed by María Bravo. The foundation says the Vietnam home offers children the essentials of daily life, alongside education and medical care, in a safe and supportive environment. That approach reflects the foundation’s broader focus on healthcare, education, social inclusion and empowerment. Rather than treating charity as a one-off donation, Casa Ángeles is designed to provide sustained care for children who need long-term support. The Vietnam project has become one of the foundation’s most visible examples of that work. Since 2018, it has grown from an emergency response to a neglected orphanage into a programme caring for more than 100 children.

The Paris gala and its purpose

The Global Gift Gala Paris took place on November 5 at the Four Seasons George V on Avenue George V in Paris. The evening began with a cocktail reception and red carpet at 7:30 pm, followed by dinner, performances and a live auction at 8:30 pm. María Bravo served as chair, while Eva Longoria was honorary chair. The programme featured performances by Vitaa, Oria, Angélica de la Riva and Gipsy Reyes Heritage, with Sandy Heribert serving as master of ceremonies. The event’s stated beneficiary was the Global Gift Foundation. Funds raised were intended to support its projects, including Casa Ángeles Quang Chau Vietnam and Casa Ángeles Marbella, a day centre for children and young people with special needs.

Casa Ángeles Marbella

Casa Ángeles Marbella is a specialised day centre founded by María Bravo for children and young people with special needs. Its mission is to improve each child’s quality of life through specialised therapies, educational workshops and recreational programmes that encourage inclusion and personal development. The centre offers modern facilities and a multidisciplinary team. Its programmes are tailored to each child’s individual needs, while group activities and collaborative projects are intended to build confidence, independence and social integration. The Paris gala therefore supported two related but distinct parts of the foundation’s work: a residential programme in Vietnam caring for more than 100 children, and a therapy and inclusion centre in Spain serving children with special needs and their families.

Eva Longoria’s role

Eva Longoria serves as honorary chair and honorary godmother of the Global Gift Foundation. Her involvement has helped give the organisation international visibility, particularly through the Global Gift Gala series. At the foundation’s 15th Global Gift Gala in Marbella in July 2026, Longoria and Bravo hosted an evening that raised funds for Casa Ángeles Marbella, Casa Ángeles Vietnam, families affected by wildfires in Spain and people affected by earthquakes in Venezuela. Longoria said the gala showed what could be achieved when people united their voices for a common cause. That event also described the foundation’s mission in clear terms: to improve the lives of vulnerable people, especially children, women and families in need, through projects focused on healthcare, education, social inclusion and empowerment.

A model built on partnerships

The Global Gift Gala is the flagship event of the Global Gift Foundation, which was founded by entrepreneurs and philanthropists María Bravo and Alina Peralta. The gala brings together business, entertainment and philanthropy to raise both funds and awareness for its causes. The Paris edition followed the same format. Its combination of black-tie dinner, live performances and an auction was designed not only to generate donations but to connect supporters with the foundation’s work. For the children at Casa Ángeles Quang Chau Vietnam, that model has already produced a tangible result. A residence that was once severely neglected now provides shelter, education, medical care and daily support for more than 100 children, while the Paris gala aimed to sustain and expand that impact.
