Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday co-chaired the Global CEOs Forum at INDIA CHEM 2026 alongside Union health minister J P Nadda, Union minister of state Anupriya Patel and Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav.The forum brought together leading industry leaders and policymakers to discuss investment opportunities, innovation, supply-chain resilience and sustainable growth in the chemicals and petrochemicals sector.The participants deliberated on ways to strengthen industry-govt partnerships, build a more resilient manufacturing ecosystem and unlock new investment opportunities to enhance India’s global competitiveness.The discussions also focused on accelerating growth in the chemicals and petrochemicals sector through technological innovation, improved infrastructure and a stable policy environment, while promoting sustainable industrial development.Majhi also visited the INDIA CHEM 2026 exhibition, where he reviewed innovations, emerging technologies and industrial capabilities across the chemicals and petrochemicals value chain.Held under the theme, “Advantage Bharat: An Emerging Global Chemicals Hub,”the exhibition brought together industry leaders, innovators and stakeholders to foster collaboration, explore new business opportunities and chart the future course of India’s chemical industry.The event highlighted India’s growing ambitions to emerge as a global chemicals manufacturing hub through innovation, infrastructure development and sustainable industrial growth.
