Rourkela: As many as 2,033 students from undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes will receive their degrees at the 24th convocation of the National Institute of Technology Rourkela (NITR) on Saturday. Of the 2,033 graduands, 1,525 are male and 508 female students. NITR director Prof K Umamaheshwar Rao said NITI Aayog member Prof Abhay Karandikar will be the chief guest, while NITR Board of Governors chairman S N Subrahmanyan will preside over the ceremony.
