Edited Charles clip omits aftermath
The Charles footage comes from a July 2020 visit to an Asda distribution centre in Bristol. Charles, who was Prince of Wales at the time, was speaking to an employee when the man suddenly collapsed. Trump’s montage shows his initial reaction and then cuts to him moving away.According to the BBC, the full recording shared on YouTube by The Royal Family Channel continues beyond that point. Charles reaches towards the employee as he starts to fall and remains nearby while others attend to him in the full video. Contemporary reports said he continued with the visit after being told the worker appeared to be coming round. The employee recovered quickly and later resumed his conversation with Charles. Neither that later interaction nor the period in which Charles stayed close while the man was assisted appears in Trump’s version.
Montage also features Macron, Biden and Obama
