Keonjhar: A 52-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by his son following a family dispute in Nuakhman village under Turumunga police station limits in Keonjhar district late on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Purnachandra Munda. Police said a quarrel broke out within the family for reasons yet to be ascertained. During the altercation, Purnachandra’s son, Srikant Munda, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, attacked him with a wooden stick.
