A few weeks ago, in an interview with business major students from the University of Alberta, Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren Kyle was asked about how she has let go of the day to day operations of her multiple businesses.To this, Lauren Kyle said, “This has been one of the harder parts for me. When your name is tied to something, it’s natural to want to be involved in everything. What I’ve learned is where I need to stay close to anything that touches the vision, the creative direction, and the overall feeling of the brand.”Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, added, “That’s what ensures everything we put out stays aligned. Beyond that, I try to step back and give my team ownership over execution. As long as the foundation is clear, they can lead and often elevate things in ways I wouldn’t have thought of.”Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren Kyle has been a highly successful entrepreneur. Ahead of the new season, in an interview with Elliotte Friedman and Kyle Bukauskas of the 32 Thoughts podcast, Connor McDavid said, “I want to be coached. I do. There’s areas of the game that I have figured out, and they come naturally and easy to me.”The Edmonton Oilers’ captain added, “And there’s other areas of the game that I need some help with, and I need to be coached, and I need to be, we need to be, organized. And I know Babs will do that. Babs will have our group organized. We’re going to be the most prepared team in the NHL.”While the Edmonton Oilers had a few brutal seasons on the ice in the last few years, all eyes remain on Connor McDavid now.
